City of Greenwood, Missouri citizens are asked to vote every four (4) years to renew the tax levy on the fire and ambulance service for the city of Greenwood residents.
Election: Tuesday, August 6, 2019
Polls Open: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Ward 1-Precinct 49, residents vote at Greenwood Christian Church, 601 W. Oak Street
Ward 2-Precinct 50, residents vote at The Fellowship of Greenwood, 1601 W. Main Street
Cass County Ward 2-Precinct 28, residents will vote at The Fellowship of Greenwood for this election only.

QUESTION:

Shall a levy in the City of Greenwood, Missouri (the “City”), of an amount not to exceed seventy-four cents ($.74) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation be imposed upon the expiration of the current levy on December 31, 2019, for a period of four (4) years beginning January 1, 2020, to enable the City to continue annual payments from the levy to the City of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, at the rate of not to exceed seventy-two cents ($.72) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation for mutual aid fire and ambulance protection and to use two cents ($.02) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation from the levy for the purpose of inspection and maintenance of fire hydrants?
